Marketplaces Manager – E-commerce, Chichester, West Sussex

A flourishing, entrepreneurial business based in Chichester is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to drive their sales growth and development on 3^rd party channels/marketplaces. This is a commercial e-commerce role improving sales and digital conversions. The position would suit an experienced individual with a commercial mindset and specialty in online marketplaces (particularly Amazon), international expansion, and conversion rate optimisation.

My client is an award-winning fast-track business that has an impressive growth record, supported by a hands-on and commercially minded team of Directors. A suitable candidate will be allowed to enter a thriving and rapidly growing business with far-reaching aspirations for development in the forthcoming years. Reporting to and working closely alongside the Marketing & Sales Director, this is a pivotal position within the team and presents excellent potential for career development and progression (including management of the Marketplaces Team).

Overview of Role:

• Help drive e-commerce marketplace strategy ensuring integration with the purchasing and customer service teams
• Review existing processes and optimise them to exceed expectations
• Co-lead strategy and manage external partnerships
• Report on key marketing metrics and e-commerce KPIs
• Implement iterative changes to improve basket conversion rates through the establishment of conversion rate optimisation, testing, and measurement processes
• Understand the e-commerce requirements of global markets and project manage the implementation of marketplace stores across global locations
• Procure and manage external marketing partnerships, both current and new
