From Graduate to Director – Georgina’s Recruitment Journey

George joined Harvey John back in 2010 as a graduate and quickly established herself as a leading recruiter in the commercial finance space. Fast forward to today, and she’s gone above and beyond in her role, establishing herself as a key player in Sussex’s finance recruitment scene.

What sets George apart isn’t just her tenure; it’s the remarkable milestones she’s achieved along the way. She’s curated a vast network of regional finance candidates and amassed a wealth of industry knowledge. With over 500 placements, her success is practically etched in stone.

George’s clientele rave about the exceptional quality of service she provides. A whopping 88% of vacancy placements over the last year were repeat clients, showcasing the trust and satisfaction she’s earned. Moreover, her standing in the market is further solidified by the fact that 91% of new business comes through referrals from existing clients, solidifying her standing in the industry.

But here’s the real kicker – George doesn’t just fill vacancies; she fills them with flair. An impressive 87% of positions filled in the past year were sole agency placements, showcasing not just her proficiency but the confidence clients place in her to deliver results.

Although the company has gone through a huge amount of change over the years, the core of who we are has remained the same, which I feel is a sign of a great company. Returning to work as a new mum in 2021 was very daunting, but the business offered me great flexibility and provision to fit work around my daughter. That has been instrumental in allowing me to achieve this promotion and is something I’ll forever be grateful for.
